Mohamed Mattar was a 26-year old engineer and graduate of London’s Brunel University when he was shot by the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (RSF) while attempting to protect two women. Yet, unlike the many killed in what has come to be called the Eid Massacre, Mattar has become a symbol for the #BlueForSudan social media campaign where thousands of people have replaced their profile pictures on Instagram, Twitter, and…

You want to build something that has a focused value, that lasts, and that is safe. Not to mention, if you want to build something of this caliber, there is a good amount of testing involved. The minds at ANSYS understand this tremendously and have made it their mission to put the power of simulation in…

Microsoft had a bunch of Xbox Game Pass news in today’s massive E3 2019 press conference, including four new games that are available to play as part of the subscription right now.  Batman: Arkham Knight, Metro Exodus, Hollow Knight, and Borderland: The Handsome Collection are all now part of Xbox Game Pass. I think I already have each of these, but not all on Xbox One X. Arkham Knight was a decent game with too much Batmobile. Metro Exodus is a bit janky but still great. SAN JOSE, Calif. — Apple, beset by falling iPhone sales, announced upcoming changes to its phone and computer software intended to highlight its increasing emphasis on digital services and to further position it as a fierce guardian of personal privacy. If you want to stay in the US, you’ll likely have to share your internet presence. As proposed in March 2018 (and to some extent in 2015), the country now requires virtually all visa applicants to provide their social media account names for the past five years. Applicants also have to provide previous email addresses and phone numbers on top of non-communications info like their travel statuses and any family involvement in terrorism. Some diplomats and…
