UEFA has introduced a new concept for its integrity and prevention sessions at youth competition final tournaments. The educational programme – which is presented at the youth finals by members of UEFA’s integrity division – will continue to include briefings for the teams on the UEFA match-fixing and anti-doping activities. One of the biggest selling points of social media for brands is that it allows for the natural fostering of trust. For brands that operate in taboo/highly scrutinized industries like credit repair or pharmaceuticals, the value of social media can’t be overstated. When you study certain industries, you’ll notice that there are particularly warm connections between businesses and their consumers. For example, the coffee shop down the street from you—the one that’s been there for decades—has no trouble building trust with customers. Then there’s your favorite online retailer, where you shop for shoes multiple times per year. Again, there’s a…

According to a survey in 2017 by the Royal Society for Public Health, Britons aged 14-24 believe that Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter have detrimental effects on their wellbeing. On…

“No one really reads what you food writers write in newspapers, you know,” says a friendly PR conspiratorially to me one fine evening, whispering across our drinks. “Er… but you are different,” she hastens to assuage any ruffled feelings. “People don’t know what you will end up writing on your social media, so they are scared,” she explains. For someone who has built a career writing about restaurants and food and drink for publications like this one, it’s a bitter pill — or, well, cocktail — to swallow. Is a flippant, off-the-cuff social media post really more valuable than the…

I’ve tried more than 50 such apps, all of which are based on games you can buy in stores, and here are my top 25. Unless otherwise noted, these are all available on iOS and Android, with some on Steam, as well. The list does not include apps, such as Samurai and Through…
