Sony’s game streaming service, PlayStation Now, has seen frequent additions to the number of games you can play through it. At CES 2016, HTC announced the Vive Pre, the second generation developer edition for its virtual reality headset, the HTC Vive. The Vive Pre brings some significant changes to the hardware, including a front-facing camera that will allow it to be used for augmented reality applications and not just virtual reality. Square Enix has announced that its cloud gaming division, Shinra Technologies will be shut down. The news comes via a financial release from the publisher warning of “an extraordinary loss.” “STI [Shinra Technologies Inc], as a cloud platform operator, has been trying to raise funds necessary for further business operations from third party investors. However, STI has found no prospective investors at this point, and therefore has to discontinue its business,” the release reads. Oculus, the virtual reality company owned by Facebook Inc, said the Rift, its much-awaited virtual reality headset, was priced at $599 (roughly Rs. 39,500). The Rift will initially be shipped from March 28 to 20 countries, including Australia, Canada, Japan, the UK and the United States, the company said in a blog post on Wednesday.
