DU fourth cut-off list to be out today at du.ac.in, around 2 percentage dip is expected

DU fourth cut-off list expected to be out today

The admissions for Bachelor degree programme at Delhi University are still open, as the fourth cut-off list is expected to be released by today, i.e. July 14, on its official website, www.du.ac.in  .

As compared to third cut-off list that was announced on July 11, an average dip of 0.25-2 percentage points is prospected this time.

Details of colleges with seats left:

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC):

  • At SRCC College, few seats are left in Economics (hons) course
  • Moreover, the college is likely to close admissions in B.Com (hons) programme.

Lady Shri Ram College (LSR):

  • In Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), admissions are open only in five-six courses, including B.Com (hons), Political Science (hons), English (hons), Journalism (hons) and Mathematics (hons)
  • In a recent HT report, an LSR official said, “We have filled more than 50 per cent of the total seats. The dip in cut-off will be in the range of 0.25-1 percentage points in some of the courses.”

Ram Lal Anand (RLA) College:

  • Meanwhile, RLM College has closed admissions for Political Science (hons), and History (hons)
  • The college may decrease its cut-off by 0.33-1.5 percentage points
  • “We have filled around 383 seats out of the total 608 seats. Most of the courses will remain open for admission in the fourth list,” said Vijay K Sharma, college principal.

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma (ARSD) College:

  • The college has admitted 711 candidates till now for the total 1,179 seats
  • But it has closed admissions for five-six courses and might drop the cut-off by 0.25-1.50 percentage points

Further, SGTB Khalsa College, has filled around 50 per cent of the total 780 seats, said principal Jaswinder Singh.

Moreover, Hindu College is also expected to decrease its cut-off by 0.25-0.50 percentage points.

After the cut-offs will be announced, candidates will get three days to complete the admission process.

Moreover, this year, DU will be releasing five cut-offs unlike previous years when the university issued up to ten cut-off lists.
