Stephanie Link, managing director at TIAA-CREF, bought Carnival for her “Halftime Report” model portfolio on Tuesday.

Carnival is a global travel company, which owns such brands as Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line and Princess Cruises. The company operates a fleet of over 100 ships.
