The tweeted poll asks users to vote for “How many burritos?” Users are given two options: “69” and “420.” The numbers are popular slang for a sex position and for April 20, an annual holiday celebrated by marijuana enthusiasts.
So far, the tweet has more than 3,900 likes and 6,100 retweets. But it’s hard to gauge whether this strategy actually lures people into the restaurant.

“We always look to engage with customers on social in a way that is fun and without taking ourselves too seriously,” Chris Arnold, a spokesman for Chipotle, told CNBC. “The nature of these tweets is not really a departure at all from what we’ve done for months, or even years.”
Chipotle, which has around 803,000 followers, is no stranger to tweets that toe the line between cheesy and distasteful.
