Traders work on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on Friday.

Friday was a day of big superlatives for the financial markets, with stocks, oil and bonds all posting significant negative milestones.

  • The Dow Jones industrial average fell below 16,000 for the first time since September.
  • The S&P 500, down more than 8 percent so far in 2016, is off to its worst start to a year ever.
  • WTI crude oil fell below $30 a barrel to the lowest price since 2003.
  • The 10-year Treasury yield breached 2 percent, a level not seen since the turmoil last October.

And that’s just the U.S.

Here are all the major indexes around the world and where they stand in terms of bear market or correction territory.
