The excitement is officially underway as the adidas Starr Cup makes its debut in Brawl Stars. This unique community-driven football-themed event gives players the opportunity to create their own teams, compete in an action-packed tournament, and battle for the prestigious title of adidas Champion.
Beyond bragging rights, participants can unlock a variety of rewards, including a free Brawler, exclusive skins, Chaos Drops, and valuable in-game resources. The event is live now and runs through July 1, with final rewards scheduled to be distributed by July 2.
Featuring NPC Brawler squads, two community-created teams, and an epic championship rematch, the adidas Starr Cup promises plenty of competition and excitement.
How the Event Works
The entire Brawl Stars community will be divided into two player-created teams. Before the tournament begins, players will help shape their team’s identity through a series of votes.
Day 1: Choose Your Team Name
Players will create their team name by combining words from two categories—adjectives and nouns—to form a unique identity.
Day 2: Create Your Team Badge
The next step is designing the team’s visual identity. Community members will vote on:
- Badge shape
- Colors
- Symbols and icons
Once these decisions are finalized, the teams will enter the competition fully equipped with their own name and emblem.
Tournament Structure
The adidas Starr Cup unfolds over 12 days and is divided into two major phases.
Stage 1: Group Stage (June 20 – June 25)
The opening phase features three group-stage matchups.
During this stage, community teams will face several NPC-controlled Brawler squads, including teams inspired by groups such as the Ranger Ranch trio, Candy Stand, and others. Although these opponents are computer-controlled, the challenge remains intense.
How Matches Are Won
Each matchup lasts for two days.
To secure victory, players must work together to fill their team’s community progress bar faster than their opponent. Progress is earned by winning matches in the special Super Brawl Ball game mode.
NPC teams also generate progress automatically over time, so players must stay active to keep their team ahead.
Group Match 3: The First Community Clash
June 24–25
The third group-stage match introduces the tournament’s first direct battle between the two community-created teams.
This head-to-head encounter gives players their first opportunity to establish dominance and build momentum heading into the knockout rounds.
Stage 2: Elimination Rounds (June 26 – July 1)
After the group stage concludes, the tournament moves into a single-elimination format.

Grand Finals
June 30–July 1
The tournament culminates in a dramatic rematch between the two community teams.
Unlike earlier rounds, the Grand Final is a pure race to victory. The first team to completely fill its progress bar will immediately claim the championship and become the inaugural adidas Starr Cup winners.
adidas Half-Time Challenges
To add an extra layer of excitement, every match includes a special adidas Half-Time Challenge on its second day.
Completing these challenges allows players to earn bonus rewards in addition to the standard tournament prizes.
New challenge details are revealed every two days at 08:00 UTC through a short video announcement, so players should keep an eye on the event hub and official social media channels.
Event Rewards
Players can unlock a variety of rewards throughout the tournament. Completing Half-Time Challenges may upgrade these rewards to even better versions.
